"You" refers to any visitor to or user of the website. "Provider" means an independent tradesperson, company or business that carries out work. "Services" means the tradesperson referral service provided through this website.
What this website does and does not do
We operate a referral service. We act as a facilitator between people who need hot water and plumbing work done and independent Providers who may be able to do it.
We do not carry out the work. We do not employ the Providers. We do not supply the parts. Every installation, repair, service and quote referred through this website is performed by an independent third party, and any contract for that work is formed directly between you and that Provider.
Any parts, materials or equipment required are additional to any quoted labour amount unless the Provider's own quote states otherwise.
Referrals, quotes and payment
When you submit an enquiry we pass your details to a Provider we consider suitable for the type of work and location. Referral does not guarantee that a Provider will accept the job, attend within any particular timeframe, or quote a particular price.
Any quote, timeframe, scope of work, price, payment term, deposit, call-out fee or warranty is agreed between you and the Provider. We are not a party to it. We recommend you obtain any quote in writing and confirm what it includes before work starts.
Indicative price ranges published on this site, including on the cost guide, are general information only. They are not quotes and they do not bind any Provider.
Your responsibility to verify
We do not inspect, audit or verify the licensing, registration, certification, insurance, qualifications or competence of Providers. We expect Providers to represent those matters accurately, but we do not check them.
Before allowing any Provider to commence work you should ask for and confirm their plumbing contractor licence, gas fitting authorisation, electrical licence and insurance, and verify them with the relevant Western Australian licensing authority. See our disclaimer for more on this.
Disputes between you and a Provider
Any dispute about workmanship, price, timing, damage or conduct is between you and the Provider. We are not a party to those agreements and will not act as an arbitrator, adjudicator or intermediary in them. Such disputes should be resolved directly with the Provider and, if needed, through the relevant licensing body, consumer protection agency or legal process.
